The awardees do not have to be US citizens or permanent residents, but they must work at a US institution. Researchers in demographic groups that are under-represented in the mathematical sciences, are especially encouraged to apply. To qualify for reimbursement, airfares must be on a flight operated by a US flagged carrier. Application closed on September 1, 2011. All of the funds have now been committed, see this document. |
