Financial Support for Students from AMSI Instititutions in Australia
Thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute (AMSI), funds are available for Australian students wishing to attend MCQMC 2012. Students from AMSI Institutions who are unable to obtain sufficient support for travel and accommodation should approach the conference organizers, who may be able to offer limited support.
Application closed on September 23, 2011. All of the funds have now been committed.
Financial Support for Participants from Institutions in USA
Thanks to a generous grant from the US National Science Foundation (NSF), funding is available to help US based researchers attend MCQMC 2012. Priority will be given to beginning researchers, such as assistant professors, postdocs and PhD students. The awardees do not have to be US citizens or permanent residents, but they must work at a US institution. Researchers in demographic groups that are under-represented in the mathematical sciences, are especially encouraged to apply.
To qualify for reimbursement, airfares must be on a flight operated by a US flagged carrier.
Application closed on September 1, 2011. All of the funds have now been committed, see this document.
